Craig Gillespie Exits Lionsgates Pride And Prejudice And Zombies
EXCLUSIVE: Craig Gillespie is exiting Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, becoming the newest filmmaker to depart behind the Lionsgate project. The screen adaptation ofthe Seth Grahame-Cruz novel mixes the 1813 Jane Austen classic getting a legion of bloodthirsty zombies. Up to now, the film hasn’t had much luck with company company directors, or casting for the matter. Gillespie, who directed the considerably acclaimed art house film Lars as well as the Real Girl and adopted with Fright Evening, came to the film after Mike White-colored left. White-colored had transformed David O. Russell, who written the script. The split here was friendly, but had associated with things like who to cast inside the film. Casting remains tough on that certain, which i wouldn’t be blown away if Lionsgate doesn’t look for not only a director but a package from the company including cast too.
