Giant robots movie that is somehow new please help?

There was a movie about some giant robots, that were coming from an
island .
The movie had some retro style but it had very good special effects .
So I believe that it was a new movie , maybe from 2007 .
Also in that movie there was an Spitfire plane that could go
underwater.

anyone knows this movie?
